2020 Teen Fontana Court
Alondra Cabrera plans on attending NYU and majoring in Criminal Law after graduating from Summit High School this spring. Alondra was born and raised in the City of Fontana and is proud to be the cheer captain at Summit High School. She enjoys practicing and spending time with her team, as well as taking the time to volunteer for the community of Fontana.
Brigit Santibanez is currently a senior at Fontana High School, and has lived in Fontana for 8 years. She hopes to attend UCLA or the University of California, Irvine, to major in Biochemistry. Her goal is to become part of the medical professional field in order to help others. She loves to take any given opportunity to assist the community, and aspires to make an impact in her generation with the help of the Miss Fontana program.
Genesis Ibrahim-Balogun is a long-time community member, born and raised in Fontana. She currently is a student at Summit High School and is planning to attend North Carolina A&T State University where she hopes to major in Environmental Social Sciences. Genesis enjoys creating adventures and broadening her perspective of the world by engaging with new people and traveling!
Hermylie Polanco is 16 years old and has lived in the City of Fontana for 10 years. As a junior at Fontana High School, she is aiming to attend UCLA to major in Business. She wants to pursue a career in the medical field and attend Colombia University to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. She has a desire to be able to show others that anything is possible if it is all placed in God’s hands. Also, she is learning to take opportunities when they are given, and she wants to inspire others to do the same. Her favorite event is Fontana Days where she reunites with her friends and enjoys the quality time she spends with them.
Giselle Aparicio has been a resident of the City of Fontana her entire life. She is currently a Senior at A.B Miller High School, and is the captain of the cheer team. She enjoys encouraging her team to do their best; especially in these difficult times. She plans on attending UC Riverside and major in Biology to become either a pediatrician or an orthodontist. Her favorite place to volunteer is at the Lewis Library and Technology Center where she can see people of all ages enjoy reading.
Teresa Morales has lived in Fontana for 5 years, and she attends Etiwanda High School as a sophomore student. Teresa aspires to achieve her dream to attend Harvard University or Arizona State University. She plans to either major in Criminal Justice to become a family lawyer, or join the medical field to become a nurse. Teresa loves to spend time with her loved ones and volunteers at Water of Life Community Church. She loves all the gatherings the City of Fontana holds, and enjoys seeing everyone come together as a big family.
