2019 Miss Fontana Court
Miss Fontana – Miriam Ortiz
Miriam Ortiz was born in the city of Los Angeles but moved to Fontana when she was seven years old. She graduated from Bloomington High School. Miriam is currently attending California State University, San Bernardino where she is majoring in Psychology. She plans to become a social worker where she hopes to devote her time to children. Her favorite place in Fontana is the Sierra Lakes Golf Course where she attends city events. She can see everyone come together to celebrate their community.
Miss Fontana Princess – Sydney Lopez
Sydney Lopez was born and raised in Fontana. She is a Kaiser High School, alumni and is currently attending California State University, San Bernardino with hopes of graduating with a degree in psychology. Sydney loves to spend time at St Mary’s church in Southridge and enjoys staying active by hiking at Martin Tudor Park. Sydney hopes to use her degree in psychology to work in a school district and help kids in their everyday lives.
Miss Fontana Princess – Madalynn Flores
Madalynn Flores was born in Fontana, however spent her childhood living in Arizona up until she moved back to Fontana in 2010. As of now, she recently graduated from Fontana A.B. Miller High School, in which during her senior year she participated in the Conservatory of Dance. Madalynn attends Chaffey College to major in Psychology, aspiring to become an Industrial Organizational Psychologist. Overall, Madalynn is very family oriented and spends her free time with her loved ones. Madalynn aspires to be a role model for community’s youth and inspire the future of Miss Fontana contestants.
Miss Fontana Princess – Jackie Heredia
Has been a resident of the City of Fontana since she was 7 years old. She Graduated from Jurupa Hills High School. During her senior year she participated in the, Every 15 Minutes project alongside Fontana Unified and San Bernardino First Responders to reduce drunk and distracted driving. Jackie Enjoys Volunteering as a Youth Sports Coach at Southridge Tech Middle School. She has instructed Children in various sports such as volleyball and basketball. She hopes to serve on the Fontana School Board one day.
Miss Fontana Ambassador – Julianna Alvarado
Julianna Alvarado was born and raised in Fontana. She graduated from Etiwanda High School and is an incoming, freshmen to Chaffey College. Julianna has always loved trying new things and getting out of her comfort zone. She joined the Miss Fontana pageant seeking life skills and confidence in herself. She wants to give back to her community the same way it has given her all the opportunities to help shape her into who she is now.
Miss Fontana Ambassador – Jazmin Leanos Rodriguez
Jazmin is a fulltime student at California State University, San Bernardino, and hopes to become an elementary school teacher. She is currently 22 years old. Her family moved into a beautiful house in the City of Fontana in 2007. It is exciting for her to share that she’s attended South Tamarind Elementary, Fontana Middle and graduated from Fontana High School in 2015. Her extracurricular activities include being a part of a club on campus and volunteering in various events at the speedway.
